UUNA TEK 3.0 is Suitable For:

For those who prioritize speed and need a machine that delivers the fastest drawing performance, the UUNA TEK 3.0 is the top pick. It’s ideal for users who require high-speed output for large-scale or time-sensitive projects.

iDraw vs. iAuto: Which Machine Is Right for Your Business?

Choosing between iDraw Pen Plotters Drawing Machines and iAuto Writing Machines depends on your specific business needs:iAuto: Released at the end of 2023, the iAuto Automatic Writing Machine excels in bulk writing. It’s ideal for businesses, event planners, marketing agencies, and non-profit organizations needing to handle large volumes of writing efficiently. With its ability to save time and money, it’s perfect for long-term bulk writing needs, such as online shops offering writing services or handling extensive correspondence.iDraw: Before the iAuto, the iDraw Pen Plotters were the go-to choice for writing tasks. While they do take longer to switch between different papers or envelopes, they remain a fantastic option for small businesses or DIYers needing customized cards or letters for special occasions.

Buying Tips:
For Bulk Writing Needs: If you require long-term, high-volume writing, such as an online shop offering handwritten services, iAuto is the best choice. For occasional writing needs, like special event invitations, consider iDraw machines.
Volume of Writing Tasks: If you handle more than 100 writing tasks daily or 500 weekly, go with iAuto. For lower volumes, iDraw machines will suffice.
Budget Considerations: If your budget is under $1,000, choose an iDraw machine. The iDraw H Series are highly recommended for its quality and performance. For higher budgets, iAuto is a clear choice.
Application Focus: For writing tasks, both iDraw and iAuto are suitable. However, if your primary focus is on drawing, such as digital or generative arts, only pen plotter machines of iDraw and UUNA TEK series will meet your needs.

iDraw H SE vs. iDraw H: Which One is Better for You?

The iDraw H SE Generative Art Plotter is an upgraded version of the iDraw H, with both models sharing most of their core features. However, the iDraw H SE introduces four major improvements:

Advanced CoreXY Motion Structure:
Enhanced precision and stability for more accurate drawings and engravings.

All-in-one Design:
Pre-assembled and ready to use out of the box, making setup effortless.

CLI and Python API Support: Advanced users can now leverage the command line interface and iDraw Python API for automation and custom script integration.

Versatile Base Plate Design:
New base plate supports various sizes (A5 to A3), making it easier to locate home points and adjust drawing sizes.

Buying Tip:
If you're looking for more advanced features, especially in terms of precision, customization, and convenience, the iDraw H SE is the better option.

iDraw H vs. iDraw 2.0: Which One Should You Choose?

The iDraw H and iDraw 2.0 Drawing Robot Pen Plotter share the same core functionality and motherboard, but the iDraw H offers improved stability over the T-style design of the iDraw 2.0. While the iDraw 2.0 may experience some instability at high speeds, the iDraw H has been optimized to provide smoother performance.

Buying Tip:
If you're working with a limited budget, the iDraw 2.0 is still a great option, offering solid performance at a lower price. However, if you prioritize stability and high-speed drawing or writing, the iDraw H is the better choice, even at a slightly higher cost.

iDraw 2.0 vs. iDraw 1.0: Which Model Is Better for You?

The iDraw 1.0 and iDraw 2.0 2D Pen Plotters both offer robust features, but they cater to different needs:iDraw 1.0: Sharing the same motherboard as Axidraw, it provides excellent open-source capabilities with API and CLI support. It’s the most affordable pen plotter with full, stable functionality, making it ideal for beginners who have some programming knowledge and are interested in second development.iDraw 2.0: An optimized version of the iDraw 1.0, offering improved speed and stability, at least twice as effective in performance. While it does have limitations in second development, it excels in providing a better experience for high-speed drawing and writing.

Buying Tip:
Choose the iDraw 1.0 for a cost-effective solution with extensive customization options, or the iDraw 2.0 for enhanced performance and speed.

How to Pick Up the Right Laser Heads?

As the creasing demand of laser engraving heads, we updated the buying guide for those different laser power heads at the beginning for your reference. Choosing the right laser power can not only improve the efficiency and quality of engraving but also ensure operational safety.
When purchasing a laser engraving machine, it mainly depends on the material to be engraved, while considering your own needs and budget. The laser module of a small engraving machine generally has a power range of 0-15W, mainly used for surface engraving and cutting of materials such as paper, thin plastic, thin wood, leather, and metal (with surface coatings). The following materials cannot be engraved: metals (regardless of thickness), stone, ceramics, gemstones, reflective materials, transparent glass, ivory, colorless transparent materials, some white plastics, etc. (generally very smooth plastics are difficult to engrave).
UUNA TEK® Pen Plotter offers the following laser modules: 2.5W, 10W, 15W. Materials that can generally be engraved include: light wood, kraft paper, fabric, leather, some plastics, wood, bamboo, opaque acrylic, etc.
If for cutting purposes, it is recommended to use 2.5W Laser Head, 10W and 15W Laser Heads for faster speed and better quality, but ensure the safety of use. For different materials, you can refer to the following table for specifics:

Buying Tip:
We no longer sell laser heads below 2.5W right now. 10W and 15W have the similar capability of materials, but 15W is stronger.

With or Without a Base Plate, What's the Difference?

The basement provides a more stable base when the machine is running at high speed. And the magnetic blocks can hold your paper easily. Generally speaking, you can buy the version with the basement. However, the version without a basement gives you a big customization space, especially if you have an auto-feeding system.

Buying Tip:
If you don't want to be limited to the size of machine, the version without base plate is your better choice. If you need more stable performance when it's running in high speed, the version with base plate is better for you.
