Terms & Conditions for the iAuto Automatic Writing Machine Rental Program

1. Rental Agreement & Eligibility

Binding Contract: By signing the rental agreement, you agree to comply with all terms.

Eligibility: Renters must be 18+ and pass a credit check (for long-term/rent-to-own plans).

Business/Entity Rentals: Requires valid business registration and authorized signatory.

2. Payments & Fees

Deposits:

Fully refundable within 7 business days after undamaged return.

Deductions apply for repairs, late returns, or missing parts (itemized invoice provided).

Late Fees:

10% of monthly rate per day for overdue returns.

Rental access suspended after 3 days overdue.

Rent-to-Own:

Early termination forfeits ownership eligibility; payments are non-refundable.

Missed payments incur a 5% late fee and pause ownership progress.

3. Equipment Condition & Use

Machine Quality:

Machines are fully functional but may not be brand-new (except for first-batch customers).

All units undergo pre-rental testing and calibration.

Prohibited Use:

No modifications, reverse engineering, or commercial resale.

Machines must not be used for illegal activities or beyond their technical specifications.

Maintenance Responsibility:

Basic care (e.g., cleaning, firmware updates) is the renter’s responsibility.

Negligence causing damage voids warranty and incurs repair fees.

4. Liability & Insurance

Damage Coverage:

Insurance ($20/month) covers accidental damage (e.g., spills, drops).

Exclusions: Intentional damage, theft, or loss due to negligence.

Liability Limits:

UUNA TEK is not liable for consequential damages (e.g., lost business, data loss).

Renters assume full risk during transportation and use.

5. Returns & Termination

Returns:

Machines must be returned in original packaging with all accessories.

Prepaid return labels provided for domestic shipments.

Early Termination:

Short-term/Long-term: No penalty if terminated with 7 days’ notice.

Rent-to-Own: Prorated refunds for unused months (minus a $100 processing fee).

6. Compliance & Enforcement

Breach of Contract:

Failure to pay, return, or comply with terms may result in legal action and credit reporting.

Remote Disable:

UUNA TEK reserves the right to remotely disable machines for non-payment or misuse.

7. Add-Ons & Modifications

Maintenance Packages:

Premium support includes 48-hour repair SLA (excludes damage from misuse).

Insurance Claims:

Claims must include photos/video evidence within 48 hours of incident.

8. Jurisdiction & Disputes

Governing Law: Agreements fall under the laws of Delaware, US.

Dispute Resolution:

Mediation/arbitration required before litigation.

Renters cover UUNA TEK’s legal fees if they lose a dispute.

9. Amendments & Updates

Policy Changes: Terms may be updated with 30 days’ notice (emailed to renters).

Grandfathered Plans: Existing rentals honor original terms unless mutually renegotiated.

10. Force Majeure

UUNA TEK is not liable for delays or failures caused by:

Natural disasters, pandemics, wars, or supply chain disruptions.

In such cases, rental periods may be extended at no extra cost.

11. Confidentiality

Renters agree not to disclose proprietary information (e.g., software, technical specs).
