    In March 2024, UUNA TEK marked a significant milestone with the launch of its official Robotshop, signaling the company's entry into the robotics technology sector. Partnering with RobotShop, a global leader in robotics since 2003, UUNA TEK aims to leverage its expertise in technology and engineering to offer cutting-edge robotics products and services. This strategic move not only expands UUNA TEK's product portfolio but also positions the company at the forefront of innovation in the rapidly growing robotics industry.

  • December, 2023

    We released our gaming-changer machine - iAuto, the world's 1st True automatic writing machine for bulk writing cards, invitations, letters, and envelopes, supporting up to 80 papers each time. after 2-year D&P and collected over 100 questionaires from customers.

  • October, 2023

    In October 2023, we successfully relocated our office from the UK to Hong Kong. Our Chinese office remains operational, handling production and after-sales service, while the new Hong Kong office focuses on marketing, branding, and financial functions. This strategic move enhances our operational efficiency and marks a pivotal step in our company's growth.

  • April, 2023

    April 2023 witnessed our expansion into the Japanese market with the launch of idrawpenplotter.jp, offering localized services and customization options.

  • August, 2022

    Responding to feedback from our community, we released the larger A1/A2 size of the iDraw H in August 2022, catering to diverse artistic needs.

  • July, 2021

    In July 2021, we introduced the highly sought-after iDraw H, an upgraded version of the iDraw 2.0 with enhanced stability and even higher speeds. It quickly became our best-selling product.

  • October, 2020

    Building a thriving community has always been important to us. In October 2020, we created a private community on Facebook, providing iDraw enthusiasts with numerous benefits, including giveaways, discounts, and the latest news.

  • August, 2019

    The dedication to quality and continuous improvement led us to upgrade the iDraw 1.0, resulting in the remarkable iDraw 2.0 T-structure Handwriting Machine in August 2019. Its speed surpassed that of competitors like Axidraw®, leaving us pleasantly surprised. To accompany this development, we launched a dedicated website, idrawpenplotter.com, exclusively for iDraw products.

    In May 2017, we proudly obtained official authorization to sell the innovative Lanmodo® Car Tent.

    August 2017 marked a significant milestone as we introduced our own personalized brands, unveiling the iDraw 1.0 XY Handwriting Machine and 3D Printer.

    By December 2016, we began collaborating with DOBOT® as one of their official distributors, selling their robotic arms through our small shop on uunatek.com.

  • July, 2015

    In July 2015, my husband Klaus and I took a bold step, departing from our stable jobs to embark on the establishment of UUNA TEK®. Our initial focus centered around providing electronic products such as earphones and phone cases. During this period, we successfully registered two essential entities: the China Office and the UK Office.

    The China Office, situated in the vibrant technological hub of Shenzhen City, specializes in the procurement of high-tech electronics. By leveraging the robust supply chain system in the region, this entity plays a pivotal role in securing cutting-edge technologies for our operations. Concurrently, the UK Office manages operational aspects, marketing, branding, and sales functions. This strategic allocation of responsibilities enables us to harness the unique strengths of each entity, fostering a dynamic and efficient business model.

I have done some basic ploting with my CNC mill previously, but the ease of use and plug and playability of the iDraw remained really appealing, so I was delighted to have the opportunity to experience this machine and explore its potential impact on my workflow.

While I’ve by no means had a chance to explore the full possibilities of the iDraw yet, I’ve had a wonderful time using it in both precision, and abstract applications.

As a disabled artist my work currently explores collaborative robotics and broader digital arts space in the context of being an extension of the physical body. In the ongoing exploration and development of this concept in my artmaking practice, the iDraw has already proven itself to be a highly valuable tool in the pursuit of this aim. If you’re trying to decide between an AxiDraw or an iDraw and cost is your primary concern, then the decision is obvious. The iDraw 2.0 is more affordable and doesn’t seem to lack any features that the AxiDraw possesses.

If you just want a machine that can draw on paper or cardstock, then a crafting machine like a Cricut is probably a better choice. It will be cheaper, easier to use, and will have a better selection of tools (such as vinyl-cutting knives). But if you want the ability to draw on something like a plank of wood with a paint marker, then a plotting machine like the iDraw 2.0 is necessary. ---Sep 1, 2022

The iDraw (from UUNA TEK)has a rather light frame of two metal rods that bend and shake slightly while the y-axis is completely extended on an A3 paper (as you can see in the video). That does not affect the accuracy though. Additionally, the pen holder plate has two springs that exercise additional pressure on the pen onto the paper. Thus the lines are very bold, however the pen tip can be damaged quickly. Moreover, the angle of the pen is at 40 degrees which also allows for better interaction between the pen tip and paper. ---August 1st, 2022

To sum up this review, the iDraw is definitely a good choice if you're looking to get started with pen plotting. Newcomers to generative art can expect a sturdy machine that works straight out of Inkscape. Its pen holder will allow you to experiment with many different kinds of pens and bring your gen art on paper.

Assembly is really easy, so unless you absolutely want a plug and play experience, the iDraw should work for most artists. On the other hand, the makers will definitely enjoy building their plotter and understanding its inner workings. ---Apr 6, 2021
